Welcome back, everybody, and happy new year! We in the Marygrove Library hope your 2013 is off to a wonderful start. We’d like to make you aware of two new resources in the library that put even more full-text research within your reach: ProQuest Research Library and Project MUSE.
ProQuest Research Library replaces the ProQuest Curriculum Package and is a much larger, more comprehensive database. “From business and political science to literature and psychology, ProQuest Research Library provides one-stop access to a wide range of popular academic subjects. The database includes more than 5,060 titles – over 3,600 in full text – from 1971 forward. Project MUSE is an online database of more than 200 journals from nonprofit publishers. It’s “a leading provider of digital humanities and social science content for the scholarly community. MUSE is the trusted source of complete, full-text versions of scholarly journals from many of the world’s leading university presses and scholarly societies, with over 120 publishers currently participating.” We subscribe to the Basic College Collection.
